Reflections on a year of achievement and cheers to a prosperous new year

As we are at the end of another remarkable year, we would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to each one of you for the outstanding collaborative efforts that made the events in 2023 a resounding success.

From Johannesburg for the Elective General Assembly; the FISU-FASU-NUSF Strategic Dialogue; plus the FASU 3×3 Challenge to Kampala for the Kings of Africa University Rugby 7s and the FASU Tennis Showdown.

The International Day of University Sports celebrated by each NUSF and the official celebrations taking place at Makerere University saw many innovations.

Our collective commitment to excellence and teamwork in university sports was evident in every event organized by our member national Federations and Zones. From sports competitions that showcased the talent and spirit of our student-athletes to academic symposiums that fostered knowledge exchange, we have truly achieved remarkable milestones together.

As we bid farewell to the incredible 2023, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Your dedication, passion, and collaborative spirit have been the driving force behind our success.

It is with this great pleasure that we invite you to walk with us this 2024 through the FASU lined up activities and events:

May 2024 be filled with new opportunities, exciting challenges, and moments of triumph. May you continue to inspire and be inspired, achieve your goals, and find fulfillment in every endeavor.

Cheers to a fantastic 2024
