FASU Logo Design Content

We are excited to announce a logo redevelopment contest for students. As FASU continues to grow, we believe it’s time for a fresh and modern look. We are inviting talented students to submit their unique and creative designs for our new logo.
As an Associate Member of FISU under Article 3.2 of the FISU Statutes and Internal Regulations since 2007, FASU is subject to the new visual identity objects and guidelines launched by FISU in January 2020. On April 22nd, 2020, the FISU CEO wrote to FASU (Ref: SG/ES – AF.PS/2020-70147) and shared proposed logos for adoption by the CUSFs including FASU, with a view of synchronizing the visual identity and brand of University sports. Since its formation in 1971, FASU has had one logo change.
The competition is open to all students, and the winner will receive a fully-paid trip to South Africa to attend the FASU Elective General Assembly and FISU-FASU Strategic Dialogue. The deadline for submissions is March 31st, 2023.
Interested applicants shall review all relevant documentation to familiarize themselves with both FISU and FASU, then develop proposals and graphics in many options, each with explanatory notes. For guidance, refer to the following documents, which can be accessed on the Google drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QVuTYqzzQBzj-qyAT-U2DVRFBADvcmMq?usp=share_link
Please submit your designs via email to info@africauniversitysports.com by the deadline. Our team will be selecting the top submissions and announcing the winner on April 14th, 2023. In case you need clarification, we are open for discussions.
We look forward to seeing your creative ideas and can’t wait to unveil our new logo.
