The International Day of University Sports was celebrated alongside the World University Netball Championship happening at Makerere University, in Kampala – Uganda on 20th September 2018.
The day started with an Aerobic session at Makerere University Freedom square, with students of sports science leading other participants through, followed by a band procession with celebrants walking from the Freedom Square, through the community outside the university and returned to the competition arena.
