KUSA embraces Online Accreditation

The 6th edition of the Kenya national university games commonly known as KUSA Games were held at the main campus of Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT) in Nyeri, from 17th - 21st December 2017. It was the first time KUSA adopted the use of an online accreditation system. According to Joseph Sandagi, the KUSA Secretary General, the portal came in handy to support the registration, clearance and production of accreditation cards, a process which was previous tedious.

Kenyatta University emerged as the overall champions, having collected the highest gold medals at the multisport event which attracted 2,027 athletes &168 officials representing 22 universities. These competed for awards in Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Darts, Handball, Hockey, Karate, Netball, Rugby 7s, Scrabble, Soccer, Swimming, Table tennis,  Tae Kwon Do, Tennis and.

The search is now on for the host of the next Edition (7th KUSA Games) scheduled for December 2019
